Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026
Welcome to www.richasirohi.com.

This website showcases the artistic work, educational programmes, creative resources and professional activities of Richa Sirohi.

We believe in respecting artistic originality, creative expression and intellectual property rights. This policy explains how content presented through this website may be accessed, used and shared.

1. Ownership of Creative Content
Unless otherwise stated, the original paintings, botanical illustrations, sketches, photographs, written materials, teaching resources, videos and other creative content presented on this website are protected by applicable copyright laws.

The relevant rights belong to Richa Sirohi, UHAAPOH or other identified rights holders, as applicable.

Displaying content on this website does not transfer copyright or grant permission for unrestricted use.

2. Permitted Personal Use
Visitors are welcome to:

  • Browse the website and appreciate its creative content.

  • Share links to publicly accessible pages and artwork.

  • Use purchased learning materials for their intended personal educational purposes.

  • Practise techniques demonstrated in workshops and develop their own original artistic interpretations.

These permissions do not extend to commercial reproduction, distribution or other uses that require authorisation.

3. Use of Artwork and Illustrations
Original paintings, botanical illustrations, limited-edition prints and other artworks may not be reproduced, printed, sold, distributed, commercially adapted or used on products without permission from the relevant rights holder.

This includes reproductions for merchandise, publications, advertising, packaging or digital products.

Crediting the artist does not, by itself, grant permission to reproduce the artwork.

To request a licence or permission, please contact us before using any artwork.

4. Copyright in Workshops and Educational Materials
The teaching materials provided through our watercolour masterclasses, workshops, courses and artist-development programmes may include:

  • Demonstration videos and session recordings.

  • Workbooks, journals and worksheets.

  • Reference images and painting exercises.

  • Presentations, written explanations and instructional resources.

Unless otherwise specified, these resources are licensed to the registered participant for personal learning only.

Participants may not redistribute, resell, publicly upload or commercially reproduce these resources without written permission.

Workshop recordings may not be independently recorded or shared without authorisation.

Access to a course or recording does not transfer ownership of its underlying copyright.

5. Participants' Original Artwork
We respect the creative ownership of our learners.

Participants generally retain copyright in the original artworks they independently create during our programmes, subject to any rights associated with reference images or other protected material used.

Participants are encouraged to share their artistic progress and experiences.

We will seek permission before publicly featuring identifiable participant artworks or testimonials for promotional purposes.

6. Purchasing Original Artworks and Prints
Purchasing an original painting or a limited-edition print transfers ownership of the physical artwork purchased, but does not ordinarily transfer the copyright or reproduction rights associated with it.

Unless agreed separately in writing, buyers may not create commercial reproductions, merchandise or digital editions from purchased artwork.

Any separate licensing or copyright transfer must be expressly agreed upon.

7. Third-Party Content
Some content may include third-party materials, references, trademarks or licensed creative assets.

Such materials remain subject to the rights and conditions established by their respective owners.

Nothing in this policy claims ownership over intellectual property belonging to third parties.

8. Exceptions Under Applicable Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict uses permitted under applicable copyright law, including relevant fair-dealing and other statutory exceptions.
